Pimlico     Race 3  (1:00 ET)  6 Furlongs

Optional Claiming $50,000 1X

Best Value Play: # 2 My True Lady (15/1)

Most Likely Winner: #7 Talent n Passion (8/5)

Other Contenders: # 5 Heart of Rome (7/2), #8 Curlamorous (6/1)

Analysis: Talent n Passion comes with the New York connections and is top form. Her work at the Big A signals her readiness. Heart of Rome is a versatile sort that can run with most any style and comes from a hot barn. Curlamorous is an off the pace threat that usually gives a good account of herself and is in the hands of Edgar Prado. My True Lady will probably be dismissed because of her Delta Downs races, but don’t let that fool you. She may prove to be a late threat and she has prepped well at Delaware.

Pimlico   Race 4  (1:30 ET)  6 Furlongs   Allowance 1X

Best Value Play: # 2 Show Ya Luv (8/1)

Most Likely Winner: # 8 Outbacker (4/1)

Other Contenders: # 1 Dance With Bulls (7/2), # 7 Grain (5/2)

Analysis: Outbacker is in the hands of a very good trainer with a high percentage on his layoff horses. Turns back from a mile but is no stranger to the Winner’s Circle when going this distance. Dance With Bull is part of an entry with some big figures in his running lines. Has not set the woods on fire his last couple of outings but is very capable of whipping this bunch. Grain is a nicely bred gelding that does not show a bad race in his career and looks solid in this contest. Show Ya Luv has never been in double digits on the board, active at the claim box and is placed well by a good conditioner. He has been on the board in 70% of his races and his speed figures that say he can fight these all the way around.
