Monmouth, Race 11 6 Furlongs
Claiming $12,500 2L (5:54 ET)
Best Value Play: #3 Enoki Chief (6/1)
Most Likely Winner: #6 Camp Party (3/1)
Other Contenders: #2 I’m On Fire (5/2), #8 Our Nino (7/2)
Analysis: Camp Party plummets in class for one of the top trainers in Jersey. He ran well for a half mile in a race far too hot for these. I’m On Fire seems to always be knocking on the door and speed numbers are fine with this field. Our Nino is an unlikely winner but is a must use in exotics. Enoki Chief is easy to overlook, but he has some decent numbers, he ships in from Philly after a rest and he gets an upgrade in trainers. Several useful works as of late.
Monmouth, Race 12 6 Furlongs Claiming $5,000 (6:22 ET)
Best Value Play: #4 Sweet MK (12/1)
Most Likely Winner: #2 Storm Da Chaser (2/1)
Other Contenders: #3 Bearly Enough (7/2), #5 Perfect Lover (3/1)
Analysis: Storm Da Chaser holds the best hand of speed figures and looks to be tough to beat if he runs his race. Bearly Enough has won six races and comes out of a very hot race. Perfect Lover runs for a very good trainer and looks to be ready since she has a race under her belt following a layoff. Sweet MK is the one if you want to roll the dice. In the past this filly was tough if she could get the lead or stay close, which has been a while back. But she gets blinkers and what is glaring is the smoking work from the gate a few days ago.
