Keeneland     Race 2    6 Furlongs    Claiming $25,000  (1:36 ET)

Best Value Play: # 10 Lookn Mighty Fast (15/1)

Most Likely Winner: #7 New Believer (3/1)

Other Contenders: #1 Mr. Prankster (4/1), #3 Kelly Leak (4/1), #5 Truly Amazing (10/1)

Analysis: According to Keeneland Winning Training Patterns Wesley Ward is extremely dangerous with a first layoff horse with class escalation. That’s what we have here with New Believer. The old gelding has won 8 times from 10 attempts at Keeneland, and he is trained by Ward. Plus, Ward owns him. Do we say more? Mr. Prankster comes in from New Orleans after a pair of impressive wins on turf. Kelly Leak has credentials from past years to be tough in this spot. Truly Amazing will stalk leaders and have a good chance despite being a little light in the class department, however, Truly Amazing has finished first or second 19 times on artificial surfaces. If he is ready to go Lookn Mighty Fast is a good long shot to consider based upon a solid career at this level.

Keeneland     Race 7    7 Furlongs    Maiden Special Weight (4:11 ET)

Best Value Play: Simple Interest (10/1)

Most Likely Winner: #4 Premium Rally (5/1)

Other Contenders: Troubadour Tango (4/1), #3 Honor the Kitten (5/1), To the Stars (7/2)

Analysis: Premium Rally runs for Wesley Ward who is an absolute killer at Keeneland with debut runners. His last pair of works at Gulfstream signal readiness. Troubadour Tango goes for the King of Canada, Trainer Mark Casse, who scored on opening day with another layoff runner from Woodbine. The work pattern is identical to his winning runner on Friday. Honor the Kitten runs for trainer Mike Maker and owners Ken and Sarah Ramsey and sports an impressive work tab. To the Stars ran a pair of good races at Gulfstream, now gets blinkers and stopped in Louisville for a sizzling five furlong work on Tuesday. Simple Interest is an interesting long shot prospect. Trainer Charlie Lopresti does very well at Keeneland and even though he rarely scores with firsters the work on March 19 from the gate says this guy may run.
