Best Value Play: #3 Circle Valley  (6/1)

Most Likely Winner: #5 DK Edge  (2/1)

Other Contenders: #1 Dangerous Trick (5/2), #7 Gold Vegas (4/1)

Analysis: Rarely out of the money, DK Edge is a consistent performer with tactical speed and the class to dispose of this bunch. Dangerous Trick will need to get the lead and try to control the race. He’s another that looks to outclass the field. Gold Vegas could not handle Dangerous Trick last out but that could have been the bounce factor. He will have to step it up to win but a good play in exotics otherwise. Circle Valley will probably be overlooked but could benefit if a pace duel develops. A return to last year’s form will have him in the Winner’s Circle.

Best Value Play: #7 Indy Breeze (8/1)

Most Likely Winner: #1 Guayana (5/2)

Other Contenders: #5 Sweetly Put (4/1) #11 Lots of Mazel (8/1)

Analysis: Now part of the successful Kirk Ziadie barn, Guayana ships in from Calder and takes a drop in class. Turn back to seven panels should be no problem. Sweetly Put drops a little after a freshener and should say something about the pace on the stretch out. Lot of Mazel may not look like a winner but this is her best distance. She was claimed out of her last and now runs for a barn good with its first time claims. Indy Breeze has a shot if a good pace develops in front of her especially after the route race on the turf.
