Best Value Play: #1 Strawberry Scarlett  (8/1)

Most Likely Winner: #6 Highlanddixiebell  (4/1)

Other Contenders: #5 I’m Not Afraid (5/2), #7 Wonderfully (6/1)

Analysis: Highlanddixiebelle has been knocking on the door all season and exits a solid race. Should prove best of the bunch late in the game. I’m Not Afraid takes a drop to what should be a more inviting level. If she flashes past early speed it could be over quickly. Wonderfully may not have won this season but she is 5 of 7 in the money. This could be the day with the right trip. Strawberry Scarlett can stay close to the pace and ran a big one last time after a bobble at the start. She looks to be prime for a top effort.

Best Value Play: #9 Sligo Ridge (15/1)

Most Likely Winner: #8 Cant Catch Wynston (2/1)

Other Contenders: #1 Rockin Heat (6/1) #5 Salvatore G (3/1)

Analysis: Cant Catch Wynston runs for a high percentage trainer Josie Carroll and she gets top man Contreras to ride.  This one gets dropped in price and leaves open condition for restricted lifetime start. Rockin Heat runs for a tough Trainer/Jockey combo. Doesn’t like to win but must be used in exotics.  Salvatore G drops for the second time in her second race since freshening. This one fits in here well for the Callaghan combo. Silo Ridge gets his best distance, has tactical speed and could get a dream trip from the outside.
