 PARX    Race 4,    6 1/2 furlongs Claiming $5,000 (1:46 ET)

Best Value Play: #2 Royal Affair  (10/1)

Most Likely Winner: #11 Niam’s Strike  (3/1)

Other Contenders: #3 Noifswhatsorbuts (6/1), #6 Street Haven (6/1)

Analysis: Niam’s Strike was claimed for a higher price but has earned enough already to be a profitable horse if claimed. A drop here for a lower price and what is probably the winner’s share makes this a winning move. Noifswhatsorbuts goes for a new barn on the drop and after a rest. The immediate drop brings caution but this looks like a well planned move. Street Haven is a tough old warrior that rarely runs a bad race and he fits well in here. Royal Affair has been successful at two turns and comes in here looking to close off of a decent pace, and if gets one he figures to have a chance. The barn goes with a jockey that does well for them.

 PARX  Race 5,  5 1/2 furlongs  Claiming $7,500 4L (2:13 ET)

Best Value Play: #1 To Dubai (10/1)

Most Likely Winner: #5 Steve’s Adventures (5/2)

Other Contenders: #6 JC’s Dream (7/2) #10 Alert Warrior (4/1)

Analysis: Steve’s Adventures is a tough customer that drops from a near allowance score with a good speed figure and looks to be the best of these. JC’s Dream ran a big race last out and has plenty of back class for this field. Alert Warrior runs for a top barn for the first time, gets blinkers after a long rest and a drop in class. The name of King Leatherbury always generates interest and he arrives in town with a possible speedball and gets the rail. Hard to ignore the barn especially when top jock Carmouche gets aboard.
