Keeneland    Race 2,   6 furlongs   $20,000   (1:37 ET)

Best Value Play: #7 Out of Thin Air (15/1)

Most Likely Winner: #12 Bully Girl (3/1)

Other Contenders: #4 St. Louie Slew (6/1), #9 Minnie Bear (5/1)

Analysis: Bully Girl takes a sizeable drop, has a win over the Keeneland polytrack and stalk from up close breaking from the outside. St. Louie Slew is in top form, works well in the mornings and is an off the pace threat. Minnie Bear is owned and trained by Wesley Ward, who rarely misses an opportunity to grab a purse. His good performance last out signals he is ready. Out of Thin Air comes from California and switches to the McPeek barn. Has finished in the money half the time on artificial surfaces and his last pair of works at Keeneland sends up a warning flag.

Keeneland  Race 8,   7 furlongsAllowance 2L   (4:49 ET)

Best Value Play: #2 Seve (10/1)

Most Likely Winner: #8 Big Lute (4/1)

Other Contenders: #5 Impassable Canyon (5/1) #12 Del Mar Sunset (12/1)

Analysis: Big Lute looks formidable due to his races, great workouts and he is the son of a sprint champion. The artificial surface is the only question. Impassable Canyon runs for Mike Maker and Rocco gets the call, the combo has finished in the cash every trip at Keeneland this meet. Del Mar Sunset moves up after a freshener, seems to love polytrack and has recorded blistering workouts in Lexington in preparation to run. Seve is still searching for the right spot and is very capable. He has the numbers and his workouts at Churchill are smoking hot.
