Analysis: Star Distinction, claimed less than a week ago, looks to be the controlling speed in the race, and there is a good chance this field will never catch him. Mississippi Man comes back after a rest for a good barn, takes a drop and should get a good stalking trip. Mr. Commissioner will be a threat from off the pace and almost caught Star Distinction last time. I’mtrulyinthemood was claimed by the effective Phil Aristone barn and has close to a 50% in the money rate at PARX.

Other Contenders: #2 Zoebear (5/1) #10 Lookn Mighty Fast (4/1)

Analysis: Escort won for twice this tag in Louisville in June, can run on or near the lead and Amoss looks to have him ready with a recent bullet work. Zoebear is well traveled in the Midwest and always hit the ticket at Churchill. A turn back and good work signal readiness. Lookn Mighty Fast is a veteran at Churchill and takes a mild drop in class, gets the blinkers and a good stalking post. Captain Genius has been off nearly a year after running at Gulfstream, but trainer Woodward does well with these and shippers. Has stakes experience and ran well against the best at Mountaineer.
