Analysis: Peteizum is a versatile runner that has been effective at the starter level and comes back for his second race after a freshener. Paden drops significantly after a layoff and posts a couple of impressive works. More Than Noble is an old pro that has been in good form for a while and the distance should suit him well. Hey Cuz has been running well for quite some time, is accustomed to picking up a paycheck and his close up stalking style should be an asset.

Analysis: Moonlit Meteor has the hot Fairgrounds connections and goes for four wins in a row. Kowboy Kody has defeated tougher, comes back after a rest and runs for a new barn. All Star Bell should stalk the pace and be in position to rally and win late. Otokogi may not look like a contender on paper, but his trainer is one of the most capable in the country and if he has this guy ready there could be trouble for the others.
