Woodbine   Race 5,   7 furlongs   Claiming $25,000   (3:00 ET)
Best Value Play: #5 Run to the Bank (10/1)
Most Likely Winner: #2 Jade Dragon (5/2)
Other Contenders: #4 Pugsley (7/2), #9 Top Marc in Class (4/1)

Analysis: Jade Dragon looks to have the class edge and after the drop in class he should show much better early speed. He is back where he belongs and Da Silva helps his chances. Pugsley has speed and runs for a crafty trainer that spots them well. His stock goes up with the class drop after a rest and with Husbands in the saddle. Top Marc in Class came back after a long sabbatical and ran very well. He should be effective at this level and Garcia stays aboard. Run to the Bank not only seeks class relief but he comes back to the polytrack where he has an extraordinary record.

Woodbine   Race 7,   6 furlongs   Claiming $10,000 3L   (3:04 ET)
Best Value Play: #1 Mighty Samson (6/1)
Most Likely Winner: #4 Masquerade Party (2/1)
Other Contenders: #3 Sorokolitis (8/1) #7 Concorde’s March (3/1)

Analysis: Masquerade Party gets a softer spot, has good speed numbers and Husbands sticks around. Sorokolitis is a little camera shy but usually gives folks a decent run. He is capable of winning at this level even though predicting that effort is difficult. Concorde’s March comes back fairly quick from his last race, which was a good effort. Trainer Sid Attard usually puts a prepared horse on the track and this one should run well here. Mighty Samson is in good form and even though he is moving up a notch his ability to close could come in handy.
