Gulfstream Race 1, 6 furlongs Claiming $6,250 (12:40 ET)
Best Value Play: #8 Skibo in July (12/1)
Most Likely Winner: #1 Belief System (2/1)
Other Contenders: #2 Salt Water Cowboy (8/1), #3 On With the Show (3/1)
Analysis: Belief System may be taking a suspicious class drop but reduction in competitive level may be what he needs, plus he goes from an apprentice to a journeyman in the irons. Salt Water Cowboy comes back after a freshener under the excellent training of Eddie Plesa and he is a horse loaded with back class. On With the Show makes quick return for his second appearance after the layoff, cuts back to a sprint and is plenty capable of handling this bunch. Skibo in July ran a big one two races back, takes a drop and gets a hot jock.
Gulfstream Race 2, 6 furlongs Claiming $50,000 (1:09 ET)
Best Value Play: #3 Ucanchangethename (10/1)
Most Likely Winner: #1 Kitchen Police (9/5)
Other Contenders: #5 Sweepin Romance (4/1) #7 Three Quarter Roy (2/1)
Analysis: Kitchen Police runs with a group of youngsters and his trainer is the very best with young horses, especially after a layoff. It looks like this one will fly the gate and they may not catch him. Sweepin Romance is improving and ran well with the favorite a couple of races back. Three Quarter Roy drops from stakes company after an impressive maiden score. This looks to be a better place for him. Ucanchangethename gets blinkers, takes a nice drop in class and runs for an old pro in Jim Divito. Don’t let this one big price get away.
