Please double check all program numbers prior to wagering

Woodbine   Race 4,   6 1/2 furlongs   Claiming $20,000   (2:32 ET)
Best Value Play: #6 Woven Lady (8/1)
Most Likely Winner: #8 Glorious Moment (5/2)
Other Contenders: #2 Poly Anna (4/1), #10 Gary’s Cashews (7/2)

Analysis: Glorious Moment is usually bet well, has the speed numbers and class to beat these and runs for a solid jockey/trainer combo. Poly Anna was an impressive maiden winner and this jockey/trainer combo wins at a 67% rate. Gary’s Cashews didn’t get to the races until she was five years old but flew past her foes at first asking a couple of weeks ago and posted a big speed figure. Woven Lady has had trouble getting off to a good start, but she usually recovers and has competitive speed numbers, and now she drops way down in class.

Woodbine   Race 9,   9 furlongs   Claiming $10,000   (5:07 ET)
Best Value Play: #7 Flattery (10/1)
Most Likely Winner: #11 Broadway Sensation (3/1)
Other Contenders: #1 Doonundurrus (10/1) #3 Mighty Quinn (4/1)

Analysis: Broadway Sensation is due to improve, was forced to travel very wide in last after passing many horses, and Contreras stays aboard. Doonundurrus is hard to figure but looks like he has found a level that suits him well, especially if he can stay reasonably close to the pace. Mighty Quinn may avoid the winner’s Circle too often but there is no doubt that he can compete with this bunch. Could today be the photo day? Flattery is a huge question mark, but why did Pat Husbands take this mount? The horse didn’t finish in last and Husbands rarely rides for the trainer. A suspect that can’t be ignored, with a good work just a few days ago.
