Saratoga   Race 3,   6 1/2 furlongs   Claiming $25,000   (2:06 ET)
Best Value Play: #7 Bridgetta (20/1)
Most Likely Winner: #10 Jet Majesty (1/1)
Other Contenders: #2 Lady Gracenote (8/1), #6 Champagne Ruby (8/1)

Analysis: Jet Majesty looks to have faced tougher and made some decent appearances in open company. This filly looks like a winner when you put that together with trainer Wesley Ward and a first layoff effort. Lady Gracenote has a very good resume and has been knocking heads at the higher optional level of state races. Champagne Ruby has plenty of stakes experience is probably ready to roll for trainer Linda Rice in her second effort after a freshener. Bridgetta has a pretty good past record and has made quite a bit of money, but most important is her obvious affection for the Spa.

Woodbine   Race 6,   6 1/2 furlongs   Claiming $10,000 2L   (3:32 ET)
Best Value Play: #5 Tot (10/1)
Most Likely Winner: #2 No Muzzle (3/1)
Other Contenders: #1 Bear Hunter (5/2) #4 Brew On the Beach (4/1)

Analysis: No Muzzle turns back to a better distance and drops way down the ladder. The jockey/trainer doesn’t make headlines but they have been known to ruin a competitor’s day. Bear Hunter gets Contreras in the irons and has the ability to run past a field like this in the stretch. Brew On the Beach runs for very consistent connections that excel in the claiming ranks, and this spot looks to be perfect for the gelding. Tot has a cool name and runs for a genuine old pro among trainers, plus he gets the excellent hands of Da Silva on a return engagement. A drop in class and a distance change are attention getting with this trainer.
