Analysis: Bread Line turns back from a route, a successful move for his trainer, plus she keeps the experience Sarvis in the saddle. Bye Bye Bunting ships in from sunny Florida, takes a drop and could be dangerous with her early speed. Justifiably Salty keeps the top jock and should be knocking on the door even though she has been plenty of camera shy in the past. Locust Trace may be going up in class but a couple of her races make her a contender today. She likes the artificial surface and her trainer is one of the best on the Kentucky circuit.

Analysis: Dalamar has the early speed and the figures. Don’t be surprised if he wires the field. Nickel Pickle ships in from Cajun country and should be in the mix late in the game. Aurora’s Secret makes his 99th career start and comes in from West Virginia. Don’t dismiss this old man or the old man riding him-they are both tough customers. Assispattle is another shipper from Mountaineer that has a little back class plus he has done well on artificial surfaces.
