Analysis: Solo Player runs for the blazing hot duo of McKnight/Garcia. With a clean break this one could easily show them the way around the rail to the wire. Devoted Wildcat fits perfect in here for an off the pace rally with Husbands taking the mount. Tevez faced tougher in Miami and broke slow when he came back to Toronto. A better trip and the class drop may be all he needs for a victory. Bathsheba Station had a bad break last out and has successfully been a competitor at this level before.

Analysis: Black Bird Rock runs for the best jockey/trainer combo in Canada, is in top form and consistently faced tough competition. Aunt Els looks to be the classier part of an uncoupled Nick Gonzalez entry and should be there with the top choice at the wire. Wild N Clever is the other runner from Gonzalez who will guarantee a hot pace, or just outrun them all. Line of Best Fit has a great resume and may be dismissed on the board. But remember, not only is her trainer a very good one, he strikes often when his runners make their seasonal debut.
