Woodbine Race 3, 7 furlongs Claiming $40,000 (1:00 ET)
Best Value Play: #8 Bobcaygeon (10/1)
Most Likely Winner: #5 Danger Bay (2/1)
Other Contenders: #1 Run to the Bank (7/2), #4 Perfect Tay (3/1)

Analysis: Danger Bay runs for Sid Attard, who has done well with horses laid off an extended period of time. He drops to his lowest level and gets Husbands, the trainer’s top jock for the past 5 years. Bobcaygeon gets the trainer’s top jock over the years and fired a bullet in preparation for a class dropping effort.    Run to the Bank drops in class after a couple of efforts this season, with the latter suggesting the drop is what he needs. Campbell staying aboard is a plus. Perfect Tay is a Gulfstream shipper moving from turf to AW. He has proven himself at different levels and a good effort may be in store with his second trip after a freshener.

Woodbine Race 9, 5 1/2 furlongs Claiming $12,500 (4:08 ET)
Best Value Play: #4 Tevez (12/1)
Most Likely Winner: #7 Solo Player (5/2)
Other Contenders: #5 Gentleman Jackson (3/1) #8 Jenna’s Wabbit (4/1)

Analysis: Solo Player had a terrible beginning in last or would otherwise have won. There is no barn hotter than McKnight’s and Garcia stays in the irons. Value play Tevez is hard to ignore with a dozen lifetime wins, being in top form and with Da Silva staying in the irons.   Gentleman Jackson comes back after a layoff and a win with Wilson remaining on top. Jenna’s Wabbitt has earned far more money than any foe in the field and notched a good work tab indicative of trainer Biamonte’s intention.
