Analysis: Darn Quiet goes for a threepeat, has plenty of early speed and drops in claiming price. Bella Figlia has a terrific resume, trained by one of the best at PARX and is in top form. Pink Hero keeps Rosado in the irons, drops in class and at this level the old mare can be very tough. Boss’s Rules has won ten times and ran very well last out. She may look a bit overmatched but if she brings her top game she can upset.

Analysis: Blame Jim drops from graded company, ships in from Gotham, recorded a blistering hot work at Belmont the other day and is trained by Pletcher. Do you need more? Papa Upa also ships in from Aqueduct, comes out of a graded event and has tons of early zip. Measured, a son of the great Curlin, ships in from Baltimore after stakes efforts, adds blinkers and has a good string of works. El Guero Guantero comes back to allowance company after being claimed by a good trainer in last race. He’s a nicely bred colt that may show us more than ever before.
