Oaklawn Race 4 , 6 furlongs Starter $7,500 (3:38 ET)
Best Value Play: #9 Tensaw (8/1)
Most Likely Winner: #8 D’pendable (9/2)
Other Contenders: #1 Lemon Juice (8/1), #7 Wildcat Country (6/1)
Analysis: D’pendable was just claimed by the successful Milligan barn, appears to be the front end of the race and has plenty of back class. Lemon Juice runs for Kenny Smith, who makes a big chunk of his money at the Arkansas oval. A slight breakdown of the pace and this guy can gobble them up. Wildcats Country runs for an okay barn and takes a big drop from his last pair in Louisville-will be tough if healthy. Tensaw keeps his regular pilot and runs for a good barn. Expect him to come from the heavens and he has scored at big odds before.
Oaklawn Race 5, 6 furlongs Claiming $12,500 (4:08 ET)
Best Value Play: #6 Fifth Date (8/1)
Most Likely Winner: #3 Debit Card (2/1)
Other Contenders: #1 Grand Sensation (5/2) #5 Pure Sovereignty (3/1)
Analysis: Debit Card is a tough gelding with a great resume, scored in his last in New Orleans and will represent one of the finest barns in America. Grand Sensation has a great record, will mix it up with anybody that comes his way and has the string of works you love to see. Pure Sovereignty runs for a barn that has been red hot for quite some time and even trumped Debit Card four months ago in Louisville. Fifth Date looks to be the controlling pace and his Oklahoma bred races will probably keep some bettors off of him, which means he could be the value.
