Other Contenders: #1 Basone (7/2), #10 Italian Monarch (5/1)

 Analysis: Arvak ships in from Okie City with good connections and good, well spaced works. Basone had a less than desirable trip last time. He could pick up the pieces if speed hits the wall. Italian Monarch comes back fairly soon for McLean Robertson and has enough back class to take these. S C Redslegacy is the class of the field, and even though he has a hard getting to the Winner’s Circle you can’t ignore his seven place finishes.

 Analysis: Now and Zen comes in fresh and runs for connections that terrorize all others, not to mention he has won fourteen career races. Blue Canoe has a respectable resume and ran a big figure last out. Short Story Long was claimed by the talented Brad Cox in Louisville and has shown new life in his last few races. Carlot Cowboy is capable and ran a solid race a couple of weeks ago. Should be close early and poses a threat.
