Saratoga Race 4, 6 1/2 furlongs Starter $50,000 (2:39 ET)
Best Value Play: #8 Easy Comparison (12/1)
Most Likely Winner: #1 Stay Tuned (1/1)
Other Contenders: #3 Ogermeister (10/1), #7 Danzig Storm (6/1)

Analysis: Stayed Tuned runs for Catalano, who is the best trainer in the Midwest and must be respected wherever he goes. The son of a Derby winner puts the blinkers on and has performed well in both of his career starts. Ogermeister is one of two trained by Jacobson and he gets a rider back that seems to suit him well, plus his speed numbers are certainly good enough for this bunch. Danzig Storm gets Johnny V. aboard and should be ready in his second test after a rest. Easy Comparison was claimed last out and rested, puts the blinkers on and moves from the turf to the main track. And, gets Castellano in the irons.

Saratoga Race 11, 7 furlongs Claiming $50,000 (6:40 ET)
Best Value Play: #8 Looking Cool (20/1)
Most Likely Winner: #6 Ruble (7/2)
Other Contenders: #7 Comandante (6/1) #11 Regulus (6/1)

Analysis: Ruble goes for a talented trainer and has a return engagement with Corey Lanerie, who is new to Saratoga. The gelding has a good resume and has won at this level and higher in Louisville. Comandante has an impressive bankroll and has been tough in state bred races, but has posted some very good numbers. Regulus is another veteran that runs for an effective trainer. He comes back after a brief rest and in good form. Looking Cool is the longshot of two uncoupled Jacobson horses, who has run at this level and in stakes. Jacobson claimed this one in last and he gets Corny Velasquez, and all of this has a certain smell of suspicion.
