Analysis: Defondo was in over his head in last and comes back earth at a track he likes. Mike Smith helps this guy a lot. Yockey’s Warrior gets a new top level jock. Last time he was in tough and looked good in the runner up positon. Tapit Wicked is an Asmussen charge that is always bet and seems to always be in the mix. Island Town runs for one of those trainers that upsets the apple cart frequently. His man Leparoux is in the saddle and this gelding seems to like Churchill.

Analysis: Sunny Mills runs for a hot barn and loves to come flying late, but he may surprise them all and be closer with his new eyewear. Rocket Man Richie pays a visit from Miami and has plenty of early zip to best this bunch. Brother Ralphie ran well when in Gotham and fits well with these. Should be a participant early. Here Comes Gary runs for a trainer that has been cold lately but wins more than his share. Sooner or later the trainer’s drought will end and it may as well be here with this class dropper.
