 Analysis: Taieri River is either ready or not after a lengthy layoff, but it is hard to bet against him regardless. Reaching Out improved a great deal after changing barns and a big race could be coming. I’mtrulyinthemood looks ready for his second effort after a rest and his best race is a winner today. Dapper Devil is the other runner for Aristone, who doesn’t look like much. But his excellent work after being off a month may be the sign that the trainer knows he is ready.

 Analysis: Quiet Hour looks to make it four in a row and a repeat of his last effort will take this bunch. Louisa Girl had a big effort at this level last out and she keeps her rider aboard. Cochita Rich goes for a good trainer and ships in from Laurel. Her last race was very impressive. Just Do It Please gets some weight off with an apprentice and gets a great post to stalk the speed. Her best race makes her a contender at a price.
