 Analysis: Cat McGinley takes another drop and gets the trainer’s high percentage rider. First Love makes her second start after a long layoff and her first race back suggests she is sound and she has plenty of back class for this bunch. Rough Winter gets a new barn and has faced much better most of the year. Victoria’s Comet is a Scott Lake trainee with her second start for her new barn and she turns back to seven furlongs.

Other Contenders: #6 Doublethestyle (5/2) #7 L.A. Girl (4/1)

 Analysis: Drogo is a tough customer dropping in class and making his second start after being claimed by Preciado, a recipe for success. Doublethestyle ran a big one last time in this same class and has a good chance to repeat. L.A. Girl is ready after a freshener and drops for the other Preciado. She is a proven performer in starter allowance company. Bracket Buster sports a good career record and takes a drop after recovering his claiming price from a few races back.
