Analysis: Dukati comes back to battle after a rest for a very good trainer accompanied by a drop in class and good workouts. Varborough takes a drop the second time after being claimed and gets a good, new rider. Volastic improved greatly in his second race after a sabbatical and delivered a blistering workout last week. Atomic Orange Vet has an excellent winning percentage and ships in from Penn after a layoff for a hot trainer.

Analysis: Skidmore ran well after a freshener and comes back attempting to repeat with a solid pro in the irons. Dulcify ships in from Gotham for Klesaris and takes a class drop after a rough start in a tough heat at the SPA-looks to fit well in here. Sharp Quality was claimed at Belmont and promptly rested, which is usually a bad sign. But with the elevated purses it makes a claim like this look sensible. Look twice at this one before tossing out. Sheislikeice was vet scratch early in the month but has come back with strong works and runs where she belongs.
