Arlington Race 5 5 1/2 furlongs Claiming $5,000 (4:09 ET)
Best Value Play: #10 Proud Jackson (8/1)
Most Likely Winner: #5 Lawnswood (3/1)
Other Contenders: #3 Hurta (12/1), #8 What Do You Mean (9/2)
Analysis: Lawnswood takes a suspicious drop, but his trainer does well with big drops and to ignore his class may be the wrong thing to do. Hurta is an old pro with twenty career wins and has probably seen his best day, but he won after a layoff earlier in the year and he has a chance to close with a lot of speed in front of him. What Do You Mean is probably the best speed horse in the race and may be the only one to survive a multi-horse duel. Proud Jackson looks to be in the garden spot with an outside post and the perfect style for his race.
Arlington Race 7 6 furlongs Claiming $7,500 (5:13 ET)
Best Value Play: #10 Russian Dancer (8/1)
Most Likely Winner: #3 Peteizum (3/1)
Other Contenders: #2 Python (6/1) #4 Takeittothehouse (5/2)
Analysis: Peteizum is always well bet, comes back to the races quick and takes a drop for trainer Jim Divito. Python likes the polytrack and fits well with these. Takeittothehouse runs for trainer Larry Rivelli and has Baird aboard, plus he has a ton of speed. Russian Dancer goes for strong connections and drops in class after two wins in Minnesota, plus gets the outside post for a good stalking trip.
