 Analysis: Shanes Gold has had a rest, is the speed in the race and looks very tough to beat. Rain Ray is in top form and cuts back to a sprint where he won before. Hurta is a definite off the pace threat and gets a good post to stalk early speed. Military Legend comes back after a layoff and while he may not look good enough at first glance you must remember that he runs for Mr. Reavis.

 Analysis: Rancho Viejo returns for his second race off the shelf and gets a big jock change to Thornton. Sterlingten also makes his first race after a layoff and came close last time at this level. Evil Image ran well before his layoff and returns with good form and blinkers for the first time. King’s Fortune runs for Matthews, who is exceptionally good with fresh runners. His string of workouts makes one take notice.
