 Presque Isle   Race 1   5 ½ furlongs   Claiming $7,500 2L (5:25 ET)

Best Value Play: #5 Chestnut Missle (5/1)

Most Likely Winner: #1 Bambileigh (7/2)

Other Contenders: #6 Tricolette (5/2), #7 Lysle’s Girl (3/1)

Analysis: Bambileigh will try the artificial surface with a hot jock and a class drop. Tricolette comes in from Kentucky as the most experienced in the field, and cuts back to a sprint. Lysle’s Girl is another Kentucky invader with some speed and gets Spieth in the saddle. Chestnut Missle may lack a little class but she has enough early speed to have a chance at a price.

Presque Isle   Race 6   5 1/2 furlongs  Claiming $25,000 3L (7:30 ET)

Best Value Play: #2 Flying Rapunzel (10/1)

Most Likely Winner: #6 Holy Heartly (3/1)

Other Contenders: #3 Miso Bad (5/1) #4 Gussied Up (7/2)

Analysis: Holy Hearty ships in from Keeneland and takes a drop to her lowest level ever after a hot work over the local strip. Miso Bad drops in class, invades from the Mountain with Spieth in the irons and always seems to be bet well. Gussied Up is an interesting mare making her seasonal debut after a good year at Presque Isle in 2013. Latest workouts were sizzling. Flying Rapunzel is a true veteran that has been a decent competitor at a half-dozen tracks or more. Won his last in West Virgina and has a shot at a good price.
