Calder’s pick 5 looks very playable so I am going to start there today.

Take note it is off the turf, so pay attention on any later scratches that
may effect the race shape.

Calder Race#5 Post time 1:30pm central

Race#5 is the trickiest race in the sequence and therefore the most
wide open. There is lots of early pace so I think it should set up for a
closer today. My main contenders are 3,5. Class with early pace that
may stalk is the 6.  I will use others as savers

Race#6 I believe is an afternoon workout for the 1. I think the trainer
was hoping it to come off the turf. 1 is a solid key

Race#7 is a minor stakes race that only really has a few horses fast enough
to win. They are 4,5,6,7.  The speed of the speed is the 6 and will be a key on
my main ticket, with others as a saver. Pay attention to the 4,5 as sleepers going
off at a price

Race#8 is the girls stakes race today. There is limited talent in here so a possible
upset is in order. 2,4,8,9,10 covers it. It is a lot but if you key races 6,7 the price
isn’t that high

Race#9 is off the turf which is the key.1 is the speed. I always pay attention to horses
that get in off the also eligible, especially when they are not next in line. So will use
3,8,11 as well.

Bring in a longshot in the spread out races and it will pay well
