Heading over to Tampa Bay Downs today as there is a nice carry over of $14,000 in the pick 5. It looks like a playable sequence with some potential of a mid price payout.

Tampa Race#5 Pick 5   Post time: 2:38pm eastern

Race#5 A small field on the turf with no trustworthy horses and no figures I can key on. The obvious horses are the 4,9. Average closers that need a bit of a trip to win. My longshot in the field is the 5. Dropping in class and was bet down both times when on the turf. The 2 will try and steal the race.

Race#6 The 7 is the most likely winner in the sequence. Has been off awhile but does have the works that says she is ready to run. Any repeat of the last race she wins. The 4 will try and go as fast and as far as she can.

Race#7 Another small turf field, but does have some talent. The 4 loves to win and is always tough at Tampa, a must use. The 7 has the connections that wins a lot at the Tampa meet and will go to the lead. A longshot that I will use is the 6, hasn’t beaten the 4 before but has been very close.

Race#8 My least favourite race in the sequence. The 4 will be the favourite and the Ness family wins at Tampa at an insane rate so is a must use. My longshots in here is the 8, he should be stalking close to the pace. Many others have the ability to win this race. No one would surprise me if they won.

Race#9 The 6,7 will be closing late and have the figures to win. The 4 will go to the lead and is a horse for course and is also a must use.

Will play a saver or two using the 4,8 in the all leg, thus able to use others elsewhere.
