Today is the focus is at Tampa Bay for their pick 5. Over $22,000 of dead money sitting there to be won. The sequence is a little tricky but is worth a shot.

Tampa Race#6 Pick 5  Post time 3:10 eastern

Race#6 We open with a tough bottom claiming turf maiden race. None of these will end up being much of turf horses, but we still need to pick a winner. The 2 has the connections and should improve a little. The 5 is a loser but is next best. Guess on the 3 if can run on the turf, but I expect him to be able to based on constantly entering him on the turf.

Race#7 The 3 has the up side to be decent, the steady works says he should be ready to beat a weak field. The 6 will be gunning early and may be able to steal it. The only true closer is the 2.

Race#8 I believe the 8 will go to the lead and the 1 will stalk close. I do not think the 8 can steal it. If the 1 can take over without to much trouble he can hold off the 4,9,10. The 3 needs a dream trip to win and do not think will get it.

Race#9 The 8 ran a very nice last race out and if repeats wins. Not sure what to do with the 4, he will be on the lead with the back class. I do not like a claimed horse that drops and has a poor workout to follow.

Race#10 Worst race in the sequence. Simply going with trainers and workout so it leaves me with 3,9,10.

Not a confident sequence of races the more time I look into it, play with caution. There could be another pick 5 carry over.
