There continues to be over $400,000 bet daily into the Rainbow 6 at Gulfstream and the payouts huge. Clearly it is the bet of the day today.

Gulfstream Park race#5 Post time 2:36pm eastern

Not an easy sequence today, if we hit we will get rewarded.  There is even a small chance that it goes to one ticket today.

Race#5 A relatively small field of poor turf horses. To be safe you probably need five of them. I do like the 1 the best if you made me pick a horse, has the closing kick to win. Others include the 3 that will try and steal it, the 4 is bad in her two turf efforts. The 5 has some back class and the 7 does have turf numbers that can also win that do not show up in the pps. Sorry not much help to start the sequence.

Race#6 Originally I thought this race was tougher than I think now. The 2 should get a good trip behind the early pace and take over, has the figures to win handily. The 6,8 can also run a winning effort, it just depends if the hook up early. Having 2,6,8 should be enough, being that I have all the running styles covered

Race#7 This race I feel the most confident about using the 1,7. The 1 is set up for a top effort today and will get a nice rail trip. The 7 loves Gulfstream and loves the distance so is a must use as well.

Race#8 Taking a shot with keying the 4. Solid first race with a little trouble to start, doesn’t even need to improve and should win. If I do not key I would probably need 6,8,10,11

Race#9 A small field but I think all six can win with the right trip. Can’t take all six so going with 1,2,6. The class drop for the 2 really helps, the 6 has the steady works and likes seven furlongs. Using the 1 as well because I think he gets a trip.

Race#10 Don’t like this race because there are so many unknowns and the contenders seem to be need the lead early types. 7 should be the favourite and did run evenly at a higher level so if was going very cheap I would key her. The second choice, the 10 I do not like at all. A poor jockey on the outside that doesn’t pass horses. If the 1 can stay close enough, she can win up the rail closing. Outsiders 3,5

Don’t forget to play the pick 5 and 4 because the last few races have a few horses that are very playable
