Pretty much a straightforward race here.

#4 QUICK RANSOM (7/1 ML) is bred very well (by Lonhro out of a Red Ransom mare – for you newbies Red Ransom comes from one of the best stud books) and if you adjust for pace he comes out on top in adjusted speed figure.  Considering he is trained by one of the best Australian outfits 7/1 odds seems unrealistic, but he looks very live.

#3 We’re Sure (7/1 ML) looks fast on paper and horses that win their debut usually have talent.  Peter Snowden is one of the top trainers in Australia too.

#6 Bubblebery (8/1 ML) looks to control the early pace and also comes from a solid barn.  Could be a juicy trifecta.
