The Tatts Tiara is the last Group 1 in the Australian racing season.  #1 Strikandi will likely draw the wisest gate of 16 after scratches (20 are entered, but only 16 can run).  Usually in Australia if you draw such a wide gate you’re toast.

Top pick #18 Najoom needs to draw in but has the rights to barrier 12, which should help her a lot if she can get into the field.  She is a real up and comer and that is the type of filly that wins this race.  #4 Catkins and #6 Avoid Lightning are consistently fast animals that drew posts 3 and 1 respectively.  Should be in the fram at the finish.
