BetPTC.com Selections /#3 – Capo Kane / #9 – Eagle Orb / #5 – Risk Taking

#3 Capo Kane is a son of Street Sense with Dylan Davis in the driver’s seat. He sports blistering speed and looks for his third straight win. He dropped Lasix last out and drew off impressively. After winning the Jerome he owns a bullet work moving to this level. Very dangerous on the lead. #9 Eagle Orb is a son of Orb making his 2nd start of 2021 for Rudy Rodriguez with Jorge Vargas in the saddle. This New York bred gets a rider change and they team up well together winning 22%. He’s a solid stalker and can track the pace from the catbird seat. #5 Risk Taking is a deep closer from the Chad Brown barn with Eric Cancel in the irons. He’s been away for 55 days and exits off an impressive score. The rider has been 13 for 23 ITM the past week.

Race #8 – The G-3 – Tampa Bay – 1 1/16 on the turf – 3:30 pm

BetPTC.com Selections / #8 – Eons / #10 – Fancy Liquor / #12 – Greyas Creek

#8 Eons hails from the barn of Arnaud Delacour and Samy Camacho in the saddle. This is his 2nd start of the year and was a beaten favorite last out. The barn comes back to score 23% looking for payback and this stalker looks to move forward off his last effort. #10 Fancy Liquor is an up close stalker from the Mike Maker barn with Hector Diaz in the saddle. Look for a solid break, and with the bullet works should give a solid account of himself. #12 Greyas Creek goes to post for Chad Brown with John Velasquez in the saddle. A solid closer moving up in class could help his causes as the barn has been 4 for 4 ITM the past two weeks. He comes off a 49 day break looking for his 4th straight win.

Race#10 – The G-3 – Endeavor Stakes – 1 1/16 on the turf – 4:32 pm

BetPTC.com Selections / #5 – Counterparty Risk / #6 – New York Girl /#8 – Irony of Reality

#5 Counterparty Risk is a daughter of Australia (GB) for Chad Brown and Johnny Velasquez in the saddle. She is 2 for 3 ITM and ships in from California where the barn wins 28% of the time. She’s a late runner and the barn has been 4 for 4 ITM the past few weeks. Look for a big effort in the lane. #6 New York Girl hails from the Bill Mott barn with Junior Alvarado getting the call. She’s a late runner who shipped over from Leopardstown (IRE) two races back, and the first time Lasix did the trick at 1st asking in the states. Rider and trainer team up to score 27% as a team. #8 Irony of Reality is a late running daughter of Animal Kingdom for Ron Potts and Huber Villa Gomez. She is 4 for 6 ITM at TBD. She can come motoring down the lane late in the race.

Race#11 – The G-3 – Sam F. Davis – 1 1/16 – 5:02pm

BetPTC.com Selections / #3- Known Agenda /#8 – Nova Rags / #5 – Smiley Sobotka

#3 Known Agenda is a late running son of Curlin who ran into some trouble last out in the G2 Remsen. He hails from the Todd Pletcher barn with John Velasquez getting the call. He’s been away for two months and I’m tossing out his last eventful race getting knocked around pretty good. The distance and company fit and should be a major danger. #8 Nova Rags is a late running son of Union Rags for Bill Mott and Samy Camacho. This is his 2nd start of the year and getting Lasix last out seemed to do the trick. Camacho is ITM 51% with his late runners and should come calling when the real running begins. #5 Smiley Sobotka is a son of Brody’s Cause for Dale Romans and Daniel Centeno. He’s been off for 49 days and should break fresh. The rider is 11 for 14 ITM the past week and sports a sharp work coming into the race.

Santa Anita

Race#3 – The G-3- Las Virgenes – 1 mile – 4:03 pm

BetPTC.com Selections / #3 – Moonlight d’Oro / #2 – Kalypso / #1 – Moraz

#3 Moonlight d’Oro hails from the Dick Mandella barn with Flavien Prat in the driver’s seat. She’s a perfect stalker who appears to better with every race. Prat is an excellent rider who is known for patience and a strong late punch. She’s been away for 55 days and owns a bullet work looking to kick off 2021. #2 Kalypso is a speedy daughter of Brody’s Cause for Bob Baffert and Joel Rosario.  They are winning at a 50% clip from a small sampling as a team and she has faced some tough gals early on. Rosario wins 23% of his early runners and will send once the gate breaks.  #1 Moraz is a lightly raced deep closer. She got 1st Lasix last out and broke her maiden impressively for Mike McCarthy and Umberto Ripoli. She is moving up in class and has some solid works for today.
