Race #10 – The G3 Orchid – 1 3/8 on the turf – 4:17 pm EDT Selections / #6 – Mean Mary / #5 – Gentle Ruler / #1 – Beale Street

#6 Mean Mary is the daughter of Scat Daddy for Graham Motion and Luis Saez in the irons. She’s been off for two months and been working at Palm Meadows. She’s a perfect 2 for 2 at GP and since stepping on the sod she has been tough as nails. Catch her if you can. #5 Gentle Ruler hails from the Ian Wilkes barn with his son in law Chris Landeros in the saddle. She’s been off five months since winning the G3 Dowager at KEE. Landeros fits her well and they’ll be moving late in the race. #1 Beale Street is a daughter of Quality Road for Michael Matz and John Velasquez in the saddle. She is 3 for 3 at GP and 7 for 8 ITM on turf. She’ll be far back closing stoutly.

Race  #11 – The Gulfstream Park Oaks – 1 1/16 – 4:49 pm EDT Selections / #4 – Lake Avenue / #5 – Spice Is Nice / #8- Dream Marie

#4 – Lake Avenue is a daughter of Tapit for trainer Bill Mott and Joel Rosario in the saddle. 2nd off the layoff and was a beaten favorite last out. The barn comes back to score 21% looking for payback as a beaten chalk. A speedy filly who should dictate the pace and Rosario wins 27% with speedy type runners. #5 Spice Is Nice is a daughter of Curlin for trainer Todd Pletcher and Javier Castellano in the irons. She was a bridesmaid last out in the G2 Davona Dale as Team Pletcher comes back to score 20% with his beaten favorites. She’s a solid stalker and Castellano wins 20% teaming up with Pletcher. #8 Dream Marie comes in for Matthew Yates and Richard Mitchell in the saddle. She’s a late runner who was six wide closing in the G2 Davona Dale. She sports some blistering works and looks to get a piece of the pie.

Race #12 – The G2 Pan American – 1 1/2 on the turf – 5:26 pm EDT Selections / #9 – Zulu Alpha / #10 – Focus Group / #5 – Go Poke the Bear

#9 Zulu Alpha is a son of Street Cry (IRE) for Mike Maker and Tyler Gaffalione in the driver’s seat. He’s seeking his third win in a row and is 4 for 5 with wins at GP. He’ll be running late and his last efforts have been red hot. The past two weeks rider and trainer are 2 for 2 with wins. #10 Focus Group has been off five months and Christophe Clement wins 16% with long layoff runners. Luis Saez has the call and looks to come from off the pace. Saez wins with 17% with his turf mounts. #5 Go Poke the Bear hails from the Mike Maker barn with Paco Lopez in the saddle. They win at a hot 25% when they team up together. This son of Kitten’s Joy moves up the class ladder and the rider has been on a roll with 21 from 32 mounts ITM. Add in winning 25% with his turf mounts and he’s a major player.

Race #14 – The G3 Appleton – 1 mile on the turf – 6:00 pm EDT Selections / #7 – Social Paranoia / #3 – March to the Arch / #1 – English Bee

#7 Social Paranoia is a son of Street Boss for Todd Pletcher and Javier Castellano in the saddle. He’s been off 6 months after winning the Dueling Grounds Derby. He is 1 for 1 at GP and Pletcher wins 30% with long layoff runners. Castellano will have him in high gear turning for home fresh and ready. #3 March to the Arch hails from the Mark Casse barn with Tyler Gaffalione in the irons. He’s been off 49 days and was a beaten favorite in the G3 Tampa Bay after being forced to alter course. The barn scores 25% with beaten favorites and this long range closer will come calling late in the lane with an eye in the leaders. #1 English Bee is a son of English Channel from the Graham Motion barn with Manny Franco getting the call. He was closing stoutly in the G3 Canadian Turf and should move forward off that effort.

Race  #14 – The G1 Florida Derby – 1 1/8 – 6:36 pm EDT Selections / #7 – Tiz the Law / #12 – Ete Indien / #9 – Independence Hall

#7 Tiz the Law is a son of Constitution who won this race in 2014. He is 1 for 1 at GP for Barclay Tagg and Manny Franco in the driver’s seat. He’s been off 56 days and sports a strong late kick. His works at Palm Meadows are solid and he should run well fresh. #12 – Ete Indien is a son of Summer Front for Patrick Biacone with Florent Geroux getting the call. Impressive winner of the G2 FOY at GP and looks to go gate to wire. His two turf bullet works are sharp and should be the one to beat. #9 Independence Hall is a son of Constitution for Mike Trombetta and Joel Rosario in the irons. He’s been off 49 days from the G3 Sam Davis at TBD and should be right with the pacesetters. Joel Rosario scores 20% with his mounts that have early speed.
