What a great way to start off 2014 with a couple nice pick 5 carry overs. Golden Gate has $44,000 and Turf Paradise has $13,000.  Going to take a shot at Golden Gate

Golden Gate Race#1 Post time 2:45 central

Race#1 There will be a big key, 6. I am surprised on the big drop because he ran well six weeks ago. Big drop after a good performance always scares me. Therefore I need to also use 1,3 the stalkers that will take over late if the 6 falters

Race#2 Once again another big dropper and even worse a big drop after a claim. The 5 certainly can win but it will be a short price. The others to consider are the 3,4. Might be the upset of the sequence

Race#3 The 3 is sitting on a maiden win. Will get a trip and can close. The 6 was flat last time out but can upset. Others are the 2 and 4 with a small shot.

Race#4 I am leaning to the 2 after a tough trip last time out and should stalk right behind the 1. There is enough speed in here to set up for a closer. The 7 closes but do not like a beaten favourite and Baze jumps off.

Race#5 3 will be the favourite but was a vet scratch last time out so I am looking towards the 1,6 to upset and make the pick 5 pay.

A possible couple of tickets   1,3,6/3,5/3/2,5,7/1,3,6  or 6/1,3,4,5/3,4,6/2/1,3,6
