There is a nice carry over of over $30,000 in the pick 5 at Gulfstream today. That will be the focus. It is a tricky sequence but worth a shot.

Gulfstream Race#6 Post time 4:00pm eastern

Not going big today because I think it may be straight forward or be one of those days that it goes bombs away.

Race#6 A less than stellar turf field. The most obvious is the 8, can close a little and that is all that it might take. The 5 had a troubled trip and has a shot to upset the favourite. After that it is wide open

Race#7 If you are going small then then the 6 is a key. Very nice first race out, hung a little but the figures say it was a fast run race. Firsters to consider are the 4,5,2

Race#8 Another possible key is the 1. She is the speed of the speed and is shortening up to her winnable distance. The 6 and 8 are plotters that will close a little, but I am not taking them. The unknown horse is the 7. Has a shot to upset.

Race#9 Once again another possible key. The 10 is a very game horse and a repeat effort makes him tough to beat. I also like he is back quicker than last time. The 2 will run better today after the troubled trip. A bombs away horse is the 5. Huge class jump but if the 2 or 10 do not run their top effort he could win.

Race#10 My least favourite race in the sequence. Looking for an upset. The contenders are 2,7,9 but I do not trust these types of races.
