June 5th at Arlington Park

by STRETCH

You are probably asking yourself, “Why would he be wasting our time pointing out carry over at Arlington Park, when there is so much activity at Belmont today.” My answer is simple, keep your options open and there is a nice carry over of almost $13,000.  Do not just focus on Belmont, when there are other opportunities elsewhere.

Arlington Park Race#4 Pick 5    Post time 5:41pm eastern

Race#4 There will be a big odds on favourite in here, the 2. The first look he looks unbeatable. BUT keying this horse would be against a big angle I have, and that is a dropping horse after a good effort and no workout in almost a month. The proper is many in here can’t run. The 10 horse has a very good first lifetime start on this surface and distance and I will be using him as well. The 5 does have figures that could win too.

Race#5 The odds on favourite is a different story in this race. The 1 looks solid, any kind of trip and she wins. A first timer could win, but I am not going to spread in this one.

Race#6 A tough small field to cap. The 2,5 expect to be on the lead early. It could set up with for the 7, has a great work and an equipment change that will help. I have watched this horse hang in the lane before. Second best closer is the 1 and likes Arlington.

Race#7 There is a fair amount of early pace, including sprinters, so I expect it should be won by a closer. The talented closer is the 9, only concern is that he only has 1 win. The other closer with multiple wins is the 5. A sleeper is the 4 if can stalk and hold off the closers.

Race#8 There is a big field but a fair amount of throw outs. I think the winner comes from 1,4,6,7. Will depend on the trip. If 4 gets loose he can win. The 1 is the most likely winner but needs a trip.

Here is my ticket:  1,10/1/1,2,5,7 /4,5,7 /1,4,6,7      cost: $48.00
