We are back at Tampa with a nice carry over in the pick 5 of over $27,000. Once again very few tracks running today so the pools will be huge.

Tampa Race#6 Pick 5  Post time 3:10 eastern

Race#6 We open up the sequence with a lack of talented turf runners. The 7 is my most likely winner. A similar race makes her a winner. The 3 has back class but runs second way to many times for my liking. The rest can only win if the top two selections falter or the 3 tries to lose again.

Race#7 There is some talent in the race, including a few horses that are win machines.  The 5 also has solid figures and is a needed horse. Also moves up as an almost key with the 1 being scratched. The 2 for me is a bet against. Hasn’t raced at Tampa or won at the distance and no workout in a month. The longshot in the race is the 6, another win machine and making a needed class drop after his last one.

Race#8 A good group of turfers and I think it will come down to who gets the clean trip in the stretch. The 1 will be the favourite and you do need to use him. The 5 is a nice longshot as you need to throw out his last because it was on the dirt, has solid closing numbers. The longshot at 20-1(which I doubt will be that high) is the 7. Last few not very good but beat the 1 four back at a huge price, possible.

Race#9 Not a fan of this race at all. There are a few scratches in here to help with the 12’s post. Any repeat of his last race makes him a handily winner. Excellent last race. Second choice for me is a bet against, the 1 has no workout over two months, but does have the speed to steal it. At best for me a small saver with the 1.

Race#10 The winner of this race was on the also eligible list, but they got scratched. The 6 will try and steal it and at 10-1 must be considered. If the 3,6 hook up another longshot could win it, 1 has a shot if the jockey doesn’t have her so far back. The 10 beat many of these with a good trip and could repeat. 3 ran well last time, can win if they don’t send the 6
