The payouts at Gulfstream’s Rainbow 6 continue to be unbelievable. Going to analyze the gulfstream sequence and post my thoughts on Golden Gate’s Hi 5 carryover.
Gulfstream Park Race#5 Post time 3:01pm eastern
Golden Gate Race#7 Post time 6:45pm eastern
Gulfstream Race#5 Open with a horse sitting on a win. The 3 looks very tough to open the sequence. The works, the late jockey change and an improving horse makes here a winner. A sleeper is the 1. The poor jockey does hurt her chances
Race#6 The 5 is certainly no standout but does look the part. Should get a good trip and take over late. The 1 may try and steel it and has a shot as well. After that maybe the 4
Race#7 A small field with many holes in these fillies. The 2,5 have the numbers, but do not really like the three weeks off with no activity. The 1 hopefully will stalk on the rail and not get caught up in a duel and the could win. The 3 is a horse that likes to win, but is she good enough
Race#8 A wide open turf race where it completely depends on race shape and trip. No real help in here. The 1 is my favourite in here but also need 4,6,7,8
Race#9 I like the 6 in here quite a bit and if do not key him need a few more. Will get the trip and currently have a hot combo. 2,4,7 are the others with a shot
Race#10 You can’t be confident coming into this leg unless you have all. 7,9 are the most likely winners but not solid selections. My longshot is the 8 that could upset the top two selections
Here is are a couple of tickets I will play: 3/1,5/1,2,3,5/1,4,6,7,8/6/7,8,9 cost $24.00
1,2,6/5/1,2,5/1,4,6,8/6/7,8,9 cost $21.60
Golden Gate Race#7 Hi 5
I like the race being shortened up to 5.5 furlongs because I think it is the perfect distance for the 6. Should stalk behind the cheap speed and take over mid stretch. The 1 and 3, I expect to do the same and do have a shot to upset the likely favourite. Next level of horses are the 5,9. Not quite up to the level of the ones above but can be in the money.
A possible ticket will be 6/1,3/1,3/5,9/all $16
