Going to take a shot at Tampa Bay’s pick 5. There is a carry over of just over $17,000. I think it is quite playable today because of so many horses that do not have a chance to win.
Tampa Bay Race#7 Post time 3:24pm eastern
Race#7 The sequence opens with a key. The 1 is a horse that has not become a loser. I expect him to sit just off the pace and take over. The 5 might be the other contender but at 1-54 I am going to take my chances against him.
Race#8 A very competitive field on the turf. The 6 owns this distance and is probably the speed of the speed. The 1 has a shot if can sit just behind the 6. The 5,8 are the closers with the class that can get up late. Great race to box in tris and supers.
Race#9 There are a bunch of throw outs in this race. The 1,6,7,9 are the horses that can win. I wish I could reduce it a bit but they all have various holes in them. If you forced me to take a stand I would lean to the 7
Race#10 A potential key in this one. The 2 should get a good trip and will get a pace battle to run at. The 6,9 have an outside chance but the 6 chances may get hurt with the 5 showing a bunch of speed. The 9 solid at the distance and likes to win
Race#11 I like a nice longshot at a 10-1 ml, the 6 will be flying late. A poor ride last time out and finished with a nice run(watch replay). The 5 has a bit of back class and has run on the turf before. The 7 has also won three times on the turf. A possible sleeper is the 9 off the short layoff and beaten favourite
Here is a ticket I am going to play: 1/2,3,56,8/1,6,7,9/2/5,6,7,9 cost: $40
I will play a few other saver tickets using a couple others in my key races.
good luck. Another great day of racing to make some money.
