As most of you already know there is a nice carry over of over $100,000 today at Santa Anita. I am very picky in playing pick 6 tickets that have a minimum of $2.00 wager, simply you need a few more keys to take a decent shot at it. Today, I think there are some solid keys.

Santa Anita Race#3 Pick 6  5:06pm eastern

Race#3 I do not think this is a stellar group of two year olds, the obvious choice is the 7. Second best and should improve a little, which should be enough in this group. The only firster is the 6 that has some connections that interests me enough to include.

Race#4 A big angle is make special note of horses that have run on this course before. The 5 is solid at the distance and figures. The 3 is the main speed and will try and steal it, these horses do not win that often but will include

Race#5 The race goes through the 1. Should stalk and take over late. The 3 will be going to the lead but do not think can win three in a row. If spending more use both.

Race#6 This is my least favourite race in the sequence. The 10 should be the favourite and will be on or near the lead. Certainly has the figures to win again. 2,4 are my closers if the 10 gets cooked early.

Race#7 The 8 is the dropping speed in the race and has the right rider to get the lead, if clears early will be tough to beat. The 3,4 are the closers that close late if there is a duel.

Race#8 The 6 needed to drop to win because is just not a MSWT horse, is the final key of the sequence. Playing a late pick 4 use the 9 as a small saver, gets in from the also eligible and has a small chance. Not worth doubling your ticket though.
