November 10th at Aqueduct

A good carry over of over $85,000 at Aqueduct in their pick 6 today. It is not an easy sequence but will take a small shot at it.

Aqueduct Race#4 Pick 6  Post time 1:47pm eastern

Race#4 A good race to start the sequence. I like the 2 to sit just off the pace and move first and then the 1 will come late. The 1 might be a seconds type horse so can’t key her.  Using 1,2

Race#5 The obvious horse is the 7 and is in a good spot to win. Based on budget I will key the 7. If you do not key him you could also use 1,2.

Race#6 I do not trust this race so I need to take 2,6,7. It will all about who gets the trip as there are no standouts or trustworthy horses in here. Whatever jockey decides to grab the lead will make his horse tough to beat

Race#7 I think there are three main contenders. The 6,7,8 are the ones the should win. My slight lean is the 8 as he needed a start in a tough race off a layoff. The 6 simply loves to win and is always tough. The with his connections makes him a must use. Great race to make a three horse exacta box.

Race#8 This race is wide open so the only way to play a reasonable pick 6 ticket is take a shot and key a horse. The horse that figures to get the best trip is the 5 so will key him. There is enough speed to sit it up. The likely favourite is the 7 but I do not really like him and would not key him. Is stretching out and has had no activity in almost a month, vulnerable favourite. If you wanted to spread I would need the 1,8.

Race#9 The 1 is my choice, should get a great trip behind the speed in the 5 and take over late. Once again could include a few other horses. The 4 would double the ticket price and certainly could win but is 1 for 21 and has six seconds and five thirds. Longshots are the 2 and 7. Will use those in the late pick 4.

Here is a ticket I am playing:   1,2/7/2,6,7/6,7,8/5/1    cost: $36.00
