A nice little carry over at Portland Meadows in the pick 4 today. So this is the
focus today. It is a little tricky on first few legs but easier at the end so it is worth
a shot.

Portland Race#7 Post time 4:52pm central

Race#7 A smaller track there is obviously less consistency. If the 5 runs back to his race 2 back he crushes, if not becomes a little wide open. There is the usual sloppy track here too, and 7 does not like the off track. An expected early pace duel sets up for the 10 who is a nice longshot. Others to consider 2 and 7

Race#8 Similar to the first leg, but I have narrowed it down. The invaders from HST look like
most likely winners, the 8 is the closer than is best of the locals but is slow. 7 is a sleeper that
can close late.

Race#9 This race mainly has only two horses, 1,3.  3 beat the 1 last time with a perfect trip so
I have a slight lean to the 1. Outsider 2

Race#10 A possible key in this race of the 3, a big win off a tough trip. I think the only other
horse with a shot is the 7, possible bounce off his last and repeat two back gives him a shot
to upset.

If you spread out a little early and key late the ticket can be quite small with a good shot, going for a price spread a bunch with a bunch and a couple with a key (or a couple)
