Let’s keep the streak going. If you noticed the pick 6 ticket I posted yesterday came in. Not a huge win, just under $3,000. I hope a few played a similar ticket and won. That is now back to back Belmont payouts that have come in. Belmont to tough today and there is a nice pick 5 carry over at Hawthorne.

Reminder Pick 4s and 5s are a minimum of only 20 cents.

Hawthorne Race#1 Pick 5  Post time 2:45pm

Race#1 Opens with a terrible bunch. The 5 will be the favourite and certainly could win by default. The 6 is dropping and shortening up so she has a shot. The other one is the 3 that at least can run evenly.

Race#2 My horse with a price is the 4, ran a very nice last race and looks to be the improving horse. The class is the 6 and runs well at Hawthorne. The 8 should have a better trip and will close late.

Race#3 A possible key would be the 2. Can run on the dirt and loves to win, including at the distance. If you do not key you could take all. The 3 would be my next choice based on the Hawthorne form.

Race#4 The 3 has the figures to win, wish there was a workout since his last race. The 2 ran his best race lifetime and if repeats can win. The 10 is a plotter on the turf but if the race backs up badly he can win.

Race#5 This race you need a horse that can stalk a little. I think that is the 3. The speed is the 4,5,6,10. I do not think any of them can clear, but out of that bunch it would be the 4. Longshot of the day is the 8 at 15-1 is can stalk.
