Taking a few shots today. The guaranteed late pick 4 at Belmont for $300,000. I feel I have a very strong key in the last. Gulfstream Park Rainbow 6 has the mandatory payout today, so that is worth it as well.
Gulfstream Race#7 Pick 6 Post time 4:11pm eastern
Race#7 A very weak field for this stakes race. It is a wide open event. I do like the works on the 6 coming into the race and would expect improvement. The 1 got a dream trip last time to just win, but could get the same trip. The 7 was all over the place and a straighter bath she wins.
Race#8 The 7 has the running style to win this race. The rest are unknowns, so based on a few races the others to consider are5,8,10,11. Going cheap, key the 7.
Race#9 Another tricky race if you do not like the 10. I do like the 10 and any slight improvement wins. Sleepers I will use are the 1,6,9 for various angles. The 1 shortening up does interest me.
Race#10 Based on the morning line odds you can see its tough. If the 5 takes to the turf she will be tough. If she stops it set up for the 3,8. The others would need a big improvement to win
Race#11 Many pretenders in here. The 7 is the speed, the 1 will get another good trip and the 10 is the improving horse that I cannot leave out. If 7,10 hook, 1 wins easy.
Race#12 Not my favourite type of race, but I think there is only three horses in here. The obvious choice is the 8, has the figures to win it. The 2 is my price horse, last race is a better than looked race and is taken the needed drop in class. The 10 has beaten the 8 before and could again.
Here is my ticket: 1,6,7,8/7/1,6,9,10/3,5,8/1,7,10/2,8,10
6/5,8,10,11/1,9,10/3,5,8/1,7,10/2,8,10
Belmont Race#8 Pick 4 Post time 4:29pm eastern
Race#8 A talented small field. The 6 is the speed and will try and steal it, but can he stretch it a mile, if so wins handily. The 1,2,3 are the stalkers that need the 6 to stop. Hard to separate them.
Race#9 The 5 and 9 are the best locals but are they the best of all of them. The 2,3,8 are the unknowns but also haven’t won on the turf, so I am leaning away from them. Will use them on a saver.
Race#10 With the 1 being scratched, the 4 will be tough. Only little concerned is the all the seconds. If do not key you need many.
Race#11 As per mentioned about a key, well this is the race. The 5 Belongs on the dirt. Take note in his first lifetime start of being competitive with a co favorite in the champagne. 5 will be tough to beat.
Here is my ticket: 1,2,3,6/1,2,3,5,8,9/4/5 and 6/all/all/5
