Going to take a shot on the big guarantee pick 4 at Belmont’s late pick 4. Also there is a nice carryover at Gulfstream’s pick 5 today. Both very playable.
Gulfstream Park Race#7 PICK 5 Post time 4:25pm eastern
Race#7 Not a leg I like to start the sequence, I am posting this ticket before I see any early money. The 8 had an average first race out and slight improvement can win. The 6 had a nice first race and then a terrible race, will give her one more shot. The firsters to look at are the 3,5
Race#8 The 2 I would have liked a bunch but to put such an apprentice on him scares me as why no other jockey would ride him. The other invader from woodbine can win if runs back to any of those races. The locals would be the 5,6
Race#9 The race goes through the 1. If she wants to run, she wins. Very nice middle move and took over. The 2 can only win if the 1 doesn’t fire
Race#10 The 2 could bounce off her first race, but if I do not key her, I need a bunch. With the 4 being scratched there isn’t much in this race. The 1 would be the saver
Race#11 Not a stellar group of turf horses in here. The 4,12 are the obvious horses that are a must use. My longshots in here are the 8 who made a nice move with first time blinkers, seemed to add a little more speed to him. My bombs away horse is the 9, stretching out speed in a bad bunch is an angle I always like, will be a price
Here is a possible ticket: 3,5,6,8 /2,4,5,6 /1/2/4,8,9,12 Cost: $32.00
Belmont Race#7 Pick 4 Post time 4:07pm eastern
Race#7 Is a competitive race and figuring out the jockeys tactics is everything in here and that’s why I need a few. The 1 will sit on the rail and should get a dream trip. The 9 is the likely favorite which certainly can win but will have a wide trip and may not get a pace to run at late. Others to look at are the 4 and the 7, the horse at a price that has a few races back to win it.
Race#8 A possible key is the 1. Will get a huge pace battle early to run at, if gets a clean trip he won’t get beat. Others to look that are closers would be the 2 and 4. They need the 1 to not run his race to win.
Race#9 Small field and once again you can’t really figure out the race shape. The 1 has won at this distance and will sit in 3rd or 4th and make that run late, plus you also get the entry mate as a back up. The 3,5 also figure to be competitive
Race#10 Half the field does not belong to be in this race. The 11 will try and steal it as always but I think the 12 will hurt his chances quite a bit. Therefore you need closers, 4,10. The 3 will get first run and is always horse you do not want to leave out.
Possible ticket: 1,4,7,9/1/1,3,5/3,4,8,10 Cost $24.00
