Saratoga Race #3 – The G3 Sanford – 6f – 2:10 pm EDT

BetPTC.com Selections / #3 – Cucina / #5 – By Your Side / #2 – Raging Whiskey

#3 Cucina hails from the Mark Casse barn with Tyler Gaffalione in the saddle. This son of Northern Afleet should be right with the leaders from the break. Solid maiden win in the slop at Belmont and should relish the added ground. #5 By Your Side comes from the barn of Eddie Kenneally with Irad Ortiz in the saddle. They came flying late in the lane to grab a maiden win at CD and should get another strong late kick with Ortiz in the saddle. His sire Constitution wins 44% with first timers and did not disappoint in Louisville. I’m looking for a strong late punch at the top of the lane. #2 Raging Whiskey is a son of Bourbon Courage for trainer Doug O’Neill and Javier Castellano in the driver’s seat. They are shipping in from SA going 4.5f last out and the added distance should give a perfect stalking trip.

Race #9 – The G1 Diana – 1 1/8 on the turf – 5:46 pm EDT

BetPTC.com Selections / #6 – Homerique / #4 – Sistercharlie / #2 – Rushing Fall

#6 Homerique is a daughter of Exchange Rate for Chad Brown. Irad Ortiz in the saddle makes a 3rd off the layoff move where they win 23%. She cuts back in distance and seeks her 3rd in a row. She’s a closer and Irad wins 23% with strong late runners. #4 Sistercharlie hails from the Chad Brown barn with John Velasquez in the saddle. She’s been off for eight months since the Breeders’ Cup F&M Turf where she won. Brown wins 29% with runners off a long layoff. Her works are sharp as Johnny V looks to score her 3rd in a row. #2 Rushing Fall is a daughter of More Than Ready for trainer Chad Brown and Javier Castellano. She’s a speedy gal who is one for one at the Spa. She was ultra impressive winning the G1 Just A Game and now seeks her 5th straight win. She’s going to be ultra tough if she handles the inner turf.

Indiana Grand

Race #9 – The G3 Indiana Derby – 1 1/16 – 10:02 pm EDT

BetPTC.com Selections / #11 – Mr. Money / #10- Math Wizard / #5 – Frolic More

#11 Mr. Money is a son of Goldencents for trainer Bret Calhoun with Gabriel Saez in the irons. Calhoun is 2 for 2 ITM at Indy and he’s looking for three in a row in top form. His works are strong over the CD oval and he should stalk up close. #10 Math Wizard is a son of Algorithms with Edgard Zayas in the saddle. He’s a stalker cutting back in distance getting beat in the final strides. He should relish the lesser ground 2nd off the layoff. His dam Minister’s Baby has 7 starters, 6 winners, and a stakes winner to her credit. He’s come a long way since being claimed for $25k and looks to be finding his own stride. #5 Frolic is a son of More Than Ready for Dallas Stewart and Corey Lanerie aboard. He moves from a sprint to a route where they win 17% for the barn. Stewart is 38% ITM with his shippers and is known to come alive when the big money is on the table.

Saratoga

Race #9 – G3 Sanford – 6f – 5:40 pm EDT

BetPTC.com Selections / #5 Dream Maker / #1 Sombeyay / #7 Bano Solo

#5 Dream Maker is a son of Tapit for trainer Mark Casse. Julien Leparoux is the reinsman and they score 23% as a team. His only effort was a stout move circling the field at Churchill. He gets an extra furlong to run and has a sharp workout over the track.

#1 Sombeyay hails from the Todd Pletcher barn with Javier Castellano in the irons. He’s had two eventful trips but his race in the Tremont was impressive. He stumbled at the start and came rolling late. He sports a bullet work over the deep Saratoga training course putting the final touch on his preparation.

#7 Bano Solo is a son of Goldenscents from the Steve Asmussen barn. His sire fires 16% first time winners and did not disappoint at Churchill. His workout pattern has been sharp and I’m looking for a top effort.

Race #10 – G1 Diana Stakes – 1 1/8 on the turf – 6:18 pm EDT

BetPTC.com Selections / #6 A Raving Beauty / #1 Sistercharlie / #2 Proctor’s Ledge

#6 A Raving Beauty is a daughter of Mastercraftsman for trainer Chad Brown. Irad Ortiz in the saddle and they score at a high percentage as a team. She rolled off two wins at Belmont and the German bred should be forwardly placed with a tactical rider calling the shots. She’ll give them all they want.

#1 Sistercharlie comes from the Chad Brown barn with John Velasquez in the saddle. Since getting Lasix two back she has had more gas in the tank. She cuts back from a mile and a quarter and was a beaten favorite last time out rolling late.

#2 Proctor’s Ledge has Jose Ortiz in the driver’s seat for trainer Brendan Walsh. A daughter of Ghostzapper who is 2 for 2 over the course and finished a solid place effort in the G1 Just A Game at Belmont. She loves the course and has some solid works under her belt.

#9 Dabster has Flavien Prat in the saddle for trainer Bob Baffert. This son of Curlin is 2 for 3 with wins and comes off a long layoff effort in the G2 San Carlos. He should be in mid pack and has a record of 1 for 1 at Del Mar.

#2 Dr. Dorr comes in for Bob Baffert with Joe Talamo aboard. He’s going to be forwardly placed as Baffert looks to notch his second win in this race loaded with two solid runners.

Race #8 – G2 San Clemente – 1 mile on the turf – 8:30 pm EDT

BetPTC.com Selections / #9 West Palm Beach / #10 War Heroine / #3 Flammetta
