#4 Matareya is a stalker from the Brad Cox barn and Flavien Prat. She is a daughter of Pioneer of the Nile, and she seeks fourth in row. She has six starts with 5 wins lifetime and makes a 3rd off the layoff run where Asmussen barn wins 17%. Let her loose on the lead and it can be lights out. #2 Inventing is a late running daughter of Union Rags for Todd Pletcher with Irad Ortiz in the saddle. She has been a bridesmaid her only two starts and will have to kick up her game a few notches to play at this level. Pletcher spots his horses well and will come rolling late.
Race #4 – The G1 Just A Game – 1 mile on the turf – 1:08 pm
BetPTC.com Analysis / #6 – Speak of the Devil / #2 Regal Glory / #5 – Wakanaka
#6 Speak of the Devil is a late running closer by Wooten Bassett (GB) for the Chad Brown barn with Flavien Prat aboard. 2nd off the layoff and has beaten the boys in France. She has a wicked turn of foot for Brown who is winning 37% for the meet. The rider and trainer are 5 for 6 ITM the past 2 weeks and she sports a sharp work. #2 Regal Glory is a daughter of Animal Kingdom and exits a win in the G1 Jenny Wiley at KEE. Chad Brown the conditioner and Jose Ortiz aboard. She comes off a 56 day break and has fired well off the shelf during her career. #5 Wakanaka is a late runner for Bill Mott and Joel Rosario in the saddle. 2nd time off the shelf and sports good works. Should get a piece of the minor awards.

BetPTC.com Analysis / #1- Jack Christopher / #2 – Pappacap / #4 – Morello
#1 Jack Christopher is a stalker from the Chad Brown barn with Jose Ortiz in the driver’s seat. This is 2nd start of the year and is a perfect undefeated 3 for 3. He cuts back in distance and has been working very well in the mornings. #2 Pappacap hails from the Mark Casse barn and is a stalker who should be just off the pace. Flavien Prat gets the nod and he has been working very well in the mornings. #4 Morello comes in for Steve Asmussen and Joel Rosario in the saddle. After the G1 Wood he has been off for two months looking to get back to his undefeated schedule before last the last race.
Race #7 – The G1 Ogden Phipps – 1 1/16 – 3:05 pm
BetPTC.com Analysis / #3- Malathaat / #4 – Clairiere / #1 – Letruska
#3 Malathaat is a closing daughter of Curlin for Pletcher and John Velasquez. She’s been off for 50 days and exits off a win. Johnny V fits her like a glove and she is 2 for 2 at the distance ITM. #4 Clairiere hails from the Asmussen barn with Joel Rosario aboard. She just got bested in the G1 Apple Blossom by Letruska and looks to turn the tables today. #1 Letruska is a speedy daughter of Super Saver with Jose Ortiz in the irons. She is 8 for 8 at the distance in ITM and be very dangerous if left alone on the front end for the Fausto Gutierrez barn.
Race #8 – The G1 Jaipur – 6f on the turf – 3:53 pm
BetPTC.com Analysis / #5 Arrest Me Red / #13 – Gregorian Chant /#11 – Chasing Artie
#5 Arrest Me Red hails from the Wesley Ward barn with Irad Ortiz aboard. Son of Pioneer of the Nile who is 7 for 8 ITM on the greensward. Ortiz is winning 31% for the meet and 24% with stalking style runners. #13 Gregorian Chant is a late runner from the Phil D’Amato barn with Joel Rosario in the saddle. This is his 3rd off the layoff move and the rider is 12 for 20 the past week ITM. #11 Chasing Artie goes to post for Saffie Joseph and John Velasquez. A solid stalker who should be in good position for the trainer and Johnny V wins 17% with stalking runners.
Race #9 – The G1 Metropolitan Handicap – 1 mile – 4:43 pm
BetPTC.com Analysis / #4 – Happy Saver / #1 – Flightline / #2 – Speaker’s Corner
#4 Happy Saver is a stalker from the Todd Pletcher barn with Irad Ortiz in the saddle. 2nd time off the layoff and shortens up in distance. He is 1 for 1 going a mile and should get a good trip under Ortiz who wins 24% with stalkers. #1 Flightline is a speedy son of Tapit who is undefeated and has won by 36 lengths in three efforts. The rail post is winning at a 22% clip and with his victory in the G1 Malibu you can see a big effort ready to take flight today. Flavien Prat aboard for John Sadler. #2 Speaker’s Corner hails from the Bill Mott barn and shows tons of early speed. Junior Alvarado has the call and will keep it an honest pace from the break.
Race #10 – The G1 Manhattan – 1 1/4 on the turf – 5:38 pm
BetPTC.com Analysis / #2 – Gufo / #4 – Adhamo / #9 – Santin
#2 Gufo is a strong closer for Christophe Clement and Joel Rosario. He is 6 for 6 ITM at Belmont and just missed coming 7 wide at the top of the lane last out. Rider and trainer are winning at a 25% clip as a team. Look for a strong late kick in the final quarter. #4 Adhamo hails from the Chad Brown barn with Flavien Prat in the saddle. His third start in the states since shipping over from France. He gets added distance and Prat wins 25% with closers on the turf. #9 Santin is a tactical stalker for Brendan Walsh and Tyler Gaffalione. He always gives an honest late run and is 5 for 6 ITM lifetime.
Race #11 – The G1 Belmont – 1 1/2 – 6:44 pm
BetPTC.com Analysis / #6 – Mo Donegal / #4 – Rich Strike / #3 -Nest
#6 Mo Donegal had a good closing run in the Derby but came up short down the lane running out of real estate for Todd Pletcher and Irad Ortiz. This son of Uncle Mo gets added distance and is 2 for 2 ITM at Belmont. Ortiz does well in New York and short of saying this is homefield advantage, it surely fits his bill. 3rd time off the layoff and back to his home base is a plus today. #4 Rich Strike shocked the racing world winning the Derby, and has enjoyed the time off skipping the Preakness and working like a champ. Sonny Leon stays aboard and this is one of my favorite angles of two off the synthetic surface since running in the G3 Jeff Ruby at Turfway Park. Look for a fresh and ready horse today. #3 Nest is a stalking gal from the Pletcher barn with Jose Ortiz. She is 6 for 6 ITM lifetime and done very little wrong. She beat the boys in the Suncoast at Tampa back in February and was the beaten favorite in the Kentucky Oaks in May. She should enjoy the distance and will put in a solid run as they turn for home.
