Race #3 – The $100,000 Gander – 1 mile – 1:50 pm Analysis / #5 – Neural Network / #4 – Maker’s Candy / #2 – D’on’t Lose Cruz

#5 Neural Network comes off a 49 day layoff and gets first time blinkers where the barn wins 19% for Chad Brown and Manny Franco in the saddle. This son of Cloud Computing exits the Jerome as a heavily bet runner who ran a solid 4th and did it easily looking at it more as a prep to get him in shape for his first start of the year. This New York runner is back in state company and should be a dangerous player. #4 Maker’s Candy speedy son of Twirling Candy for Mike Maker and Jose Gomez aboard. He comes off a maiden win and steps up the class ladder. Gomez is 40% ITM with speed style runners. #2 D’ont Lose Cruz as a stalking type runner for David Duggan who is winning 31%. He is 4 for 4 ITM at AQU and should be right with the leaders today.

Race #8 – The $125,000 Stymie Stakes – 1 mile – 4:26 pm Analysis / #3 – Repo Rocks / #6 – Miles D / #4 – Black Belt

#3 Repo Rocks is a late runner from the Jamie Ness barn with Andrew Wolfsant in the saddle. He is 6 for 10 ITM at AQU and drops in class with a win in the G3 Toboggan stakes. Going from a sprint to a route yields a 30% win clip for the Ness barn and the rider has won 4 for 5 in the past 60 days with the trainer. #6 Miles D is a late runner by Curlin for Chad Brown and Manny Franco. He drops in class from the G3 Hooper as the beaten chalk at GP last out. The rider and trainer win 29% as a team and he is 1 for 1 at AQU. #4 Black Belt 3rd off the layoff for Peter Walder and Eric Cancel. He has shown speed against claimers and last tried his hand going into graded company with a troubled trip.

#5 Uncle Ernie is a speedster from the John Servis barn with Javier Castellano in the irons. He has been off for 56 days and drops in class while cutting back in distance. He was a beaten favorite last out and the barn comes back to score at a 30% win clip on this angle. #7 Candy Man Rocket hails from the Bill Mott barn with Junior Alvarado aboard. This son of Candy Ride is looking for three wins straight and 2nd start of the year. He sports a bullet work at Payson Park leading up to this start. #2 Super Ocho is a speedy son of Dubai Sky in the hands of Emisael Jaramillo who wins 19% with early speed runners. 3rd start of the year shipping in from Delta Downs and can be a major player from the gate break.
